Research Interests:

Her long-term interests are in the development of medical devices based on a clinical need.

Her current research towards her PhD investigates use of heart rate variability to detect fentanyl-induced physiological changes.

Research Supervisors:

Prof Karen Reynolds  (Principal Supervisor)

Professional Interests:

Anne-Louise is the secretary of the Society for Medical & Biological Engineering, SMBE (SA), a society for people interested in the application and use of engineering techniques in medicine and biology.

Anne-Louise works in the Research & Development Group of Flinders Biomedical Engineering who support research activities with design and development of specialised equipment and initiating medical device research for commercialisation.

She is a member of Flinders Medical Devices and Technologies, FMDAT, a network of researchers skilled in the development and application of a diverse range of medical technologies.
