Enterprise Information Technology Research Group
The Enterprise Information Technology program looks at many of the contemporary issues in IT from both the strategic and management viewpoints. Accordingly, a strong focus is on the analysis, development and refinement of models, structures, and processes associated with the implementation of information technology into enterprises both small and large.
The major program areas include:
- The management and issues surrounding the use and application of various information technologies in organisations, ranging from socio-political issues such as ethics and privacy through to specific techniques such as risk management and metrics.
- Recent emerging trends have emphasised the importance of the Enterprise Security and Mobile Initiatives program areas as a broader spread of various communications technologies are implemented in novel ways.
- The application of IT in the education arena. Development of a better understanding of ways to use computer technologies for a range of learning activities is being pursued.
